I ordered the Culligan ZeroWater 20-Cup Ready-Pour 5-Stage Water Filter Dispenser from Amazon, but when it arrived, the box was crushed and the water meter was missing. I loved the dispenser so much that I didn’t want to return it just to get the water meter, so I reached out to ZeroWater to explain the situation. I asked if they could send me a replacement water meter to avoid the hassle of a return. To my delight, they sent me a new water meter at no charge! I’m really impressed with their customer service and the quality of the water filter/dispenser. The 20-cup size fits perfectly on the top shelf of my fridge, and I’ve been drinking much more water now that I have cold, great-tasting water readily available. It tastes even better than bottled water, and it’s so convenient to have chilled filtered water at the push of a button. Thank you, Culligan ZeroWater!

As a person who prioritizes quality and convenience, the ZeroWater 20 Cup Ready-Pour 5-Stage Water Filter Pitcher has completely transformed my hydration habits. Its elegant design and exceptional filtration capabilities have made it an essential part of my daily routine, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
The filtration technology in the ZeroWater pitcher is unparalleled. With its 5-stage filtration system, which includes NSF certification for reducing lead, heavy metals, and harmful chemicals like PFOA/PFOS, I feel confident that every sip I take is clean, pure, and free from contaminants. For someone who values health and wellness, this reassurance is priceless.
The Ready-Pour design adds to its convenience. With a generous 20-cup capacity, I can fill it once and have more than enough purified water for the day. The innovative Ready-Pour spigot allows for easy dispensing without any spills or messes, making it ideal for hectic mornings or refilling water bottles on the go.
I also love the thoughtful design features that simplify using the ZeroWater pitcher. The ergonomic handle and non-slip grip make it comfortable to hold, while its slim profile fits neatly in my fridge without occupying too much space. Plus, the included TDS meter lets me track my water quality and know precisely when to change the filter.
In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend the ZeroWater 20 Cup Ready-Pour 5-Stage Water Filter Pitcher. Its superior filtration, convenient design, and dedication to quality make it essential for anyone who wants to stay hydrated and healthy. Whether you’re a busy professional, a fitness enthusiast, or someone who simply values clean, pure water, this pitcher will not disappoint.

While the water from this filter is free of odors and impurities, it has a nearly tasteless quality akin to distilled water. It outperforms Brita and other gravity filters I’ve tried. However, the pitcher design is somewhat inconvenient; pouring too fast can lead to splashing or spills. Additionally, the large filter reduces the amount of filtered water that collects in the bottom of the pitcher to about two cups at most.

In my area (Chihuahua), the water tested at 377 ppm, but after using the filter, it measured at 0.00. However, the brochure states that with that level of contaminants, the filter would only last for 40 gallons. For me, that translates to about 20 days, which seems very expensive to replace parts every 20 days. Additionally, the taste of the water is unpleasant. Initially, it had a bottled water taste with a slight plastic flavor, but after 10 days of use, the taste has worsened significantly and now tastes metallic. I do not recommend this product.

The filter works really well. It’s a shame that the filters are so expensive.

10/28/23 UPDATE: ISSUE RESOLVED! The customer service was quick and effective, providing me with instructions that fixed the problem instantly. I’m very impressed!
This is the only system I’ve tried that truly makes my water drinkable. My tap water has been terrible—bad smell and taste. After years of buying bottled water, I decided to take a chance on this after reading positive reviews. Initially, the included filter was defective, but Zerowater replaced it, showcasing great customer service. Fortunately, I had ordered extra filters, which worked perfectly. I finally figured out how to use the tester, and my tap water consistently tested in the mid-300s. In contrast, the filtered water read 0 (zero), and I absolutely loved it—no chemical smell, just clean drinking water. I’ve stopped buying bottled water altogether.
I’ve been testing my water every few days and recording the results because it seemed too good to be true. Nearly four months later, I’m still amazed by the consistent readings. I’ve praised this system so much that two friends bought it and are equally impressed. I’ve been monitoring how long one filter lasts; with my water testing in the mid-300s, my filters last about 5-6 weeks. Initially, I thought that was short, but my friends have lower readings and haven’t had to change their filters in over two months. Clearly, my filters are effectively removing contaminants, reaching their limits sooner than those with cleaner water.
One last note: I’m currently questioning the consistency of the filters. Over the past four months, I’ve had to replace two filters—one due to leaking and another because water wasn’t passing through. I’m unsure if this is a drawback of such an effective filter, but I’ll keep an eye on it moving forward.

I appreciate that it includes a testing meter, and the chlorine taste is less pronounced.

Pros:
The taste of the water is fantastic when the filter is properly maintained and changed frequently. There’s significantly less waste compared to the bottled water we used to consume, and we no longer have to deal with heavy cases of water.
Cons:
We find ourselves needing to replace the water filter approximately once a week. Although there are three of us in the household, only one person works from home, while the others are often out. We do consume a lot of water; the person at home drinks about 64 oz daily, while the others might manage around 32 oz from the filter. We’re quite sensitive to taste, and we’ve noticed that these filters cannot last the 3 to 5 months claimed. The water quality in our area tests around 350-360 before filtration, and I understand that if yours is lower, the filters may last longer; if higher, they may not last as long. The recommendation to change the filter around a reading of 006 is accurate—our last filter hit 006 after just 2 weeks. Once it reaches about 004, we can detect a plastic-like taste. This odd taste has appeared in multiple homes across different counties and states, suggesting it may be an issue with the filter itself. Essentially, each filter (despite being rated for 006) lasts about 14 gallons. If they could resolve this tasting issue, the filters would surely last longer.
Overall:
I own three of these systems in different sizes and just purchased another. We primarily use one, while the others are kept in our bedrooms for brushing teeth or nighttime hydration, so they aren’t changed as often. In terms of cost, the filters are comparable to what we used to spend on bottled water when bought in bulk, and we’ve eliminated plastic waste and the hassle of carrying heavy water cases—something we dreaded during grocery shopping. At one point, we even ordered a pallet of bottled water from a store and picked it up with a truck! Both my daughter and I are very particular about tastes, which is why we relied on bottled water for years before discovering this system. Our family consumes more water than average, as we tend to avoid soda, juice, and milk. Although the filters don’t last nearly as long as advertised, the time and energy we’ve saved make it worthwhile for us. We’ve also gifted these systems to our adult children, and they enjoy them, albeit with the same concerns about filter longevity. I’m heading out of state for a month and plan to buy a smaller system with a couple of filters to avoid bottled water while I’m away. I’ll then pass the system on to someone before I leave.
