I absolutely love this pitcher! I purchased it for my college dorm during my freshman year, which was six years ago. The tap water in my college town was notoriously bad, often murky. This filter helped me stay hydrated without having to trek to a water fountain multiple times a day. The size is perfect for one person, lasting about a day; if my roommate was around, I’d need to refill it, but that wasn’t a big issue. It filters pretty quickly, much faster than a Berkey water filter. The components are easy to clean, the white color hasn’t stained, and it has fulfilled all my needs. Even after moving out of the dorms and into apartments, I still use it. The only minor challenge is keeping track of the filters, which might be more about my ADHD than the product itself. I would write the replacement date on the box and set a reminder for two months later, just in case anyone else is forgetful like me. When I used my last filter, I’d add new filters to my grocery list so I wouldn’t run out of clean drinking water. There have definitely been times I’ve gone over two months without a change, and while I wouldn’t recommend that for health reasons, the water still tasted fine—except for one time when I went nearly four months. Then it started to have a taste, but that was my mistake, not the product’s.

I decided to try this product because our water system pump breaks every few months, and our water is extremely hard and full of sulfur. I was initially hesitant about purchasing filters, but then I realized how much I was spending on bottled water each week. This Brita filter works quickly and delivers great-tasting water! It fits perfectly in the fridge and helps reduce our plastic waste.

Update: 7/5/24: Unfortunately, these filters don't last two months as advertised. That's disappointing. We've only been using ours for a few weeks, and there's already a strange taste again. What a letdown.

I would love to give this product 5 stars, but I can't stand false advertising. The description promises a light that indicates when the filter needs changing, which was my main reason for choosing this model. Unfortunately, there is no such light, so I have to rely on guesswork for filter replacement. On the positive side, the water filter performs well; the water tastes great and it filters quickly.

I’ve never been a fan of my tap water’s taste, and drinking bottled water (which I enjoy) has definitely made me more particular about it! I was skeptical about water filters, but after seeing so many positive reviews, I decided to give this one a try. And I’m so glad I did—I absolutely love it!

The setup was a breeze, and there was no damage to the product. Most importantly, it really improves the taste of my tap water. My husband and I even conducted a blind taste test between the filtered water and our regular tap water, and we both preferred the Brita—it tastes so clean and pure.

I’ve only been using it for a day, so I can’t comment on its longevity yet, but I’m really excited! I keep it in the fridge after filling it up, and it gives me refreshing cold water. Plus, it feels better for the environment compared to buying countless bottles.

This product performs excellently. While my tap water is decent, my wife comes from a country where the public water is quite poor, making her very averse to drinking from the tap. Fortunately, the water from this pitcher tastes fantastic. It's user-friendly, and the pour spout functions flawlessly—unlike my previous pitcher, which made pouring a messy ordeal.
